Description

A really tidy example of the wonderful BMW 335d. I got this car when I moved to the Scottish highlands and had a year and a half of very pleasurable motoring, followed by a year in South Devon. A move to Central London is what has forced me to sell this car and I am pretty gutted to be doing so. It isn't ULEZ compliant and the average speed of traffic is sub 20 MPH so neither me nor the car would be happy driving it around London. The car drives beautifully. No smoke, no leaks, absolutely loads of power. The engine is stock, so would be suitable for mapping if that's your thing. When I bought the car I immediately had the engine and fuel system Terracleaned. Since owning it I have had it regularly serviced by independent BMW specialist garages. It had it's turbo system reconditioned before I bought it and I have had all brake disks and pads replaced, shock absorbers replaced. More recently I have replaced a wheel speed sensor, a glow plug (following inspection - only one needed changing) and a boost pressure sensor. I have spared no expense keeping this car in top running condition and, as can be seen by the comprehensive service history documents, so have previous owners. I also had the windscreen replaced so that's unchipped and clear.I also fitted an upgraded navigation system which replaces the idrive screen. Just on screen size alone this is a massive upgrade. You can still access the original idrive system, but there is an android based system (it's basically a big smartphone with a modded BMW specific operating system), so you can use spotify, google maps etc. I have retained the original screen and will be including this in the sale in case the buyer prefers the original unit. There are a few age-related blemishes as can be seen in the photos. The worst of that is probably the bumper, which could be swapped out for one from a salvage yard. They never really bothered me but there is nothing that couldn't be sorted out fairly simply if you want to return the car to showroom condition. My dad is selling this car for me (which is why it isn't in London) and he'll take you out for a spin before purchase. Cash preferred but bank transfer possible. Next MOT due 19/09/2024, Blue, 5+ owners, £7,500
