Description

I bought this car without seeing it as having spoken with the then owner (an engineer), I knew that this car had been lavished with all the attention it had needed. Fastidious in his attention to detail, anything that needed blasting, painting, replacing or servicing was done. Fixings were replaced with stainless steel, even the labels on items in the engine bay were replaced. It looks the same today. The mileage is so low and that shows throughout the car. This car is not perfect, there's a few minor imperfections to the trim, the bodywork isn't perfect, but it is extremely good for it's age. I have had a perfect Classic and I just wanted to cover it in bomb proof bubble wrap, I couldn't enjoy it! All the rear suspension has been rebuilt, the front wishbones have been replaced and I would say that mechanically you would struggle to beat it.All of the work was carried out within the last three years or so. My local independent (An Alfa fanatic) said it was the best he has ever seen! I have the original certificate from the factory. All keys are present and alarm works. Cam belt done this year. I'm not going to take pics of invoices etc, but I have plenty. I had never driven a car with a V6 Busso before, but what they say is true, there is nothing like it!The power is constant It has not missed a beat, mostly doing short commutes along with 200 mile drives and didn't have to keep filling up! The MPG isn't really that bad on a run. The radio/cd has been replaced with a compatible Bluetooth Alpine unit, I do have the original and unusually the aerial works. Original Jack and tools etc all present. I would suggest it is a perfect daily driver but equally it's a solid car that could very easily be taken to the next level. That's not my thing, I just liked to enjoy driving it, and I don't have the skill set! It was my 60th this year and I had planned to drive down through Italy in it and I am sure it would have been perfect. Things change though, so my head has made the decision to look to sell the car, my heart...., that has a very different take on it! I don't have to sell it but if someone out there wants it and will enjoy it, for the right money, I will. Rather than be all technical I have tried to convey how I think this car presents in a honest way. If you want to know anything, just get in touch. It's certainly a head turner and always a talking point with those that 'know'. Owned 4 Alfas, Owners Club member. It's not perfect, but it sure is very good! Next MOT due 29/10/2024, Silver, 3 owners, £10,000
