I purchased the car when it had 37k miles on the odometer. Since then, I've only driven it on hot summer days. When not in use, it's been stored in a climate-controlled garage under a car cover. I've added just 2k miles, and the car continues to drive exceptionally well with a super smooth ride. The clutch is perfect, and the brakes are in great condition.There is a small area of missing paint on the front, less than an inch in width, which is hardly noticeable. The car is entirely rust-free, and the sills are in excellent condition. It recently passed its MOT without any issues and has only failed once in its history, which was for the windscreen wipers. After the MOT, I had it serviced, and everything was topped up. The mechanics even mentioned it's the best MX-5 they've ever had.I have over 20 years of paperwork for the car, including the original purchase receipt and old MOT certificates.
