Welcome to the for sale advert for my much loved phoenix yellow 2003 BMW E46 M3 manual coupe which I have owned for 7 years. Currently sat on just over 114k miles I bought it in 2017 at 96k. I am the 7th owner. The car has a good service history with a file full of receipts including the the documented all important running in service. Rod Bearings were done under recall at 39k. Recently the car has benefited from a suspension and brake overhaul with bilstein b4 shock absorbers and H&R Springs and refurbished OEM BMW calipers front and rear. Discs and pads have also been done in my ownership with OEM parts. In 2023 the car had 2.5k spent on the body work addressing both front arches and one of the rear arches which were starting to bubble (I have pictures of the work in progress) and as such the paint work is in very good condition with minimal blemishes. There is a small amount of bubbling on the rear arch that wasn't addressed as it wasn't showing at the time and I would have got this done if I was keeping the car. Mechanically the car drives tight and straight with no unwanted noises or knocks and bangs. The car performs as it should and sounds much better than stock with a full custom stainless steel exhaust that enhances the enjoyment of the car. The car is a non sunroof model and has been exclusively ran on shell V power or in rare emergencies Tesco ultimate 99. The car has never been tracked in my ownership and has been used as a weekend car by a mature enthusiast and has been always warmed up before use. The interior is in good condition with wear and tear commensurate with the mileage. It wears it's years well. In terms of bad points (all cars have them). The genuine BMW E46 M3 CSL wheels (3k and NLA from BMW) could do with a refurb to bring them back to thier former glory and the rear seats have some fading and cracking and the rear parking sensors don't work but this is just a faulty sensor and can be fixed for a few quid but It never bothered me enough to address it. All in all a very reluctant sale of a much loved car which is only being sold as my wife is hassling me to get something more sensible. As per usual no group viewings and all test drives will be conducted by me.
