LONG AD, PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE REALLY INTERESTED! HPI clear. A continental cruiser, a flying armchair. I won`t type here the vehicle features as most of you already know what this beast like this is capable of, inside and outside. This is an ex chauffeur car with motorway mileage. I`m the second owner and I`ve used it in the past year to go also on the motorway from Leeds to Maltby and back (where I used to work). Now my job has moved inside Leeds and using a 3.0 TDI engine under revved +90% of the time won`t be healthy for the vehicle in general so it`s better if I sell it to somebody that will take care of her like the previous owner did and like I did, and of course for somebody that will do again motorway miles. And please, I have enough with the "too high mileage" nonsense. True car enthusiasts already know that 182000 miles is not even half of the life of a TDI engine. These are strong and durable engines but there`s a catch: proper maintenance will cost you. This car really "hates" non genuine parts and she will let you know soon enough about it. You can also chose to go with it at your friend because it`s cheaper, but you won`t drive it for long after. So here are some quick facts about this car: 1) Full electronic service history. 2) Fresh MOT 3) I`m the 2nd owner of this car (the only one on auto trader with just 1 former owner). 3) Contrary to Audi`s persistence, I did do a gearbox service that included complete ZF kit + oil (receipt available). 4) One of the injectors in the B group had a knocking and when investigated it was found that it wasn`t adding enough fuel to the cylinder. And in a V engine you never change just one injector, you change all of them from that side. So I've changed all 3 of them (receipt available). 5) New pads (disks still have a long way to go). 6) New Bosch wipers. 7) It has very few age related marks on it + a 5 mm chip on the windscreen but not even close to the driver`s view. 8) 36 MPG is the true fuel consumption on the motorway at 80 miles per hour on cruise control and the correct tire pressure for the weight you`re carrying. And, that`s about it. Like I`ve said, it`s pointless to keep this massive car inside Leeds when I`m only going once or twice a year in Scotland for some me time.
