Description
Launched in 2002 as the successor to the 550, the 575M Maranello o?ered sharper performance,
improved dynamics, and updated styling. It introduced an adaptive electronic damping system
that adjusted instantly to road conditions, while upgraded Brembo brakes with larger cross-drilled
discs improved stopping power. Redesigned alloy wheels aided cooling via additional ducts in the
front bumper.
Subtle exterior tweaks were complemented by a more extensive interior overhaul, featuring a new
dashboard, instrument cluster, door panels, and seats. Performance was significantly improved,
with a 0-60 mph time of 4.25 seconds and a top speed of 203 mph, making it Ferrari’s first front-
engined production car to exceed 200 mph.
This example was delivered new to the UK in May 2005, where it has continued to reside to date.
