Description

"The Chevrolet Special Deluxe Series AH Fleetline was produced from 1941 to 1952. The Fleetline was introduced late in the 1941 model year as a four-door sedan only. In 1942, a fastback two-door 'Aerosedan' was also offered while the sedan was renamed 'Sport Master'. In 1947, the Fleetline made up 71.26% of Chevrolet's sales. For the years' 1949 through 1952 models, the fastback was the only one offered and Chevrolet dropped the Fleetline for 1953. Production was indefinitely delayed in 1942 due to World War II, after 110,000 vehicles had been made, though several thousand Chevrolet coup and sedans were produced during the war years for military staff use. In 1945, production for civilians resumed and the original series was produced through to 1948.This incredibly rare right hand drive example of the pretty Fleetline Aerosedan has been imported by its current owner having purchased late last year. Presented in cream and red with chrome in abundance and with a contrasting black trim which are in very good all-round condition. The sweeping lines of the Aero and Deluxe coup are proving very popular and this Aero is supplied with a full UK V5 registration document. This is a good example of a highly collectable American coup with the added bonus of being right hand drive." Recent Continental tyres all round, including the spare wheel/tyre in the boot. Can be viewed in Woking, Surrey. GU21 in a clean, dry storage area. Please call or message to arrange a viewing
