Description
Selling my 2006 Citroen C1. It comes with 2 keys, 2 sets of wheels (summer tyres and wheels that are currently on, and winter tyres and wheels packed in their sleeves), rear parking sensors, front parking sensors, working AC, full size spare wheel in the boot, seat covers, floor mats. I have owned it since 65k miles. PSH - the previous owner claims to have been a mechanic and have been performing servicing with incomplete (some) paper trail, unlike me. I have all paper records.Notable documented repairs: clutch replaced, brakes done, suspension arms and links done water pump done. Servicing records at the following miles: 1k, 1.7k, 3.6k, 4.3k, 5k, 6.8k, 8.8k, (then a gap until my purchase), 67k, 72k, 79k, 86k, 93k, 100k, 107k, 112k, 119k 123k. Next service should be done at 130k. I was told that since the first owner it consumes oil depending on RPM: at high RPM it uses some, at normal RPM it uses none. If accelerating rapidly or going into the mountains, then every 2k miles I would see 90% on the dipstick (total 3.1L), and would top up accordingly. With trial and error I discovered a particular brand that works very well and occasionally I do not need to top up in between oil changing services. It has a fuel economy record of 4.1L/100KM (69 UK MPG). If driven at 80 MPH, I believe it would be getting 4.6L/100km (61 UK MPG). Record distance travelled between fill-ups: 501 mile. I do not imagine if it's even possible to get less than 360 miles from a full tank. It is a very good car, and I have seen specimen with over 750k km (466k miles), and I was planning to achieve it and surpass it. Unfortunately, this car does not have an ISOFIX points, and I will kind of need it real soon, that's why selling. Not an urgent sale, it doesn't take up that much space, it will sell eventually. I am confident it will pass its next MOT. So much so that for an extra price (30 for MOT and 30 for my time and scheduling/delivering) I could take the MOT and add +12 months, should the buyer so desire. If you would like to have a viewing, please note that I can host viewings after 6:30PM and not earlier on workdays, and any time on weekends. Notable locations visited: Honister Pass and Moss Force Waterfall, Lizard Point and Kynance Cove, and regular runs to Leicester, Cambridge, Nottingham, etc. It can keep up with the traffic even at the steep incline, however one must lower the gear because this petrol baby likes to rev and would suffocate at the low RPM. Call, if interested. Next MOT due 11/06/2025, Grey, 4 owners, £2,000
