Description
Testing the water on my BMW F10 535D M-Sport LCI, as I have found a long term replacement for it. Bought in April as stop-gap car as I needed a car to use for business and put a load of miles on quickly, which this was perfect for. I liked the fact it had frankly insane mileage on it, as the history was impeccable and the car was in fantastic condition and drives brilliantly. Since April I've put just under 12,000 miles on it and it hasn't missed a beat - Genuinely. The previous owner had it for 2 years, and used it quite sparingly as a day-to-day car, however the owner before that was the absolute hero who put over 200,000 miles on it, never missing a service as he used it for business up and down the motorway all day (led to believe it had a BMW Extended Warranty and Service Plan). The interior is in fantastic condition as you can see, with the back seats being basically un-used, with only the drivers seat having a scuff (that admittedly I caused myself). I had new Brembo brake discs and pads fitted all round shortly after buying it, and I have recently fitted 4x new Kumho Ecsta tyres (a brilliant tyre for everyday motorway use), so it really is ready to go. I've had the oil changed already also, with all work taking place at MTEK BMW specialist in Northampton. The previous owner had a new rocker cover and gasket fitted, and the brake fluid changed shortly before I purchased it also. Obviously the front bumper has some stone chips and the wheels have some kerb marks, as to be expected with the mileage, but the rest of the car is in fantastic condition - you wouldn't think it's done nearly a quarter of a million miles. Features it has include heated electric memory seats, Harmon Kardon stereo, cruise control, big screen I-drive system, DAB Radio, bluetooth, multi-function steering wheel, semi-digital dash, parking sensors all-round, amongst others I've probably forgotten. Basically if you want a car you can jump in straight away and load a ton of miles on without worrying about it, this is it. I've seen other 535D's on here with less mileage, that are a worse spec, in FAR worse condition, and have worse history. This is a VERY well looked after car and the mileage is a testament to that. I'm open to sensible offers, but don't email me telling me that 'the car is pile of and going to need a massive amount of work' - Come and see it, and you'll see how well it drives with no knocks or bangs (plus all I'll do in the email replies is wind you up). Next MOT due 17/01/2025, White, 3 owners, £7,200
