Description

2010 Insignia VXR chipped stage 1 to 375BHP, *Spares or Repair* Please read this very carefully, first the good bits, in the past year it has had new fitted Brembo Disks and Pads, all coil packs and spark plugs, new rear Pirellis, ABS sensor on front offside wheel, new expansion tank, prop shaft, general service items oil filters etc, it is a very clean and straight car that when washed is definitely a head turner and it is very fast, apart from an odd light issue on the clocks where when it is on white light occasionally a section will go out all electrics work and the Air-Con was also re-gassed and cleaned out, there are also a lot of receipts from the previous owners. now the bad bits, as seen in the pictures the ABS and traction control warning lights are back on, this is because another speed sensor has failed on the offside rear wheel, I am told by Vauxhall that it requires a replacement hub and sensor to fix, the power steering is broken the pipes leak like a sieve and the pump is shot, Vauxhall no longer make all the pipes required to fix but if they did they would be just over 1200 quid in total, Perrys in Doncaster did find a company that said they could make them however but I had run out of patience at this point, the baskets that go under the fuel tanks are corroded and need to be replaced, currently it is working in front wheel drive only, it wasn't until the speed sensor went wrong and I am assured this could be the problem but beware it could also be the Haldex there was never a problem with it previously but you never know, and that is it, nice car, very quick but I hate it with a passion now, it has robbed me of both my money and youth and I just wasn't prepared to spend anymore on it, but to somebody who can fix it or has some money to spend on it, it would make a really nice, quick, comfortable car, *note* pictures of wheels are from when it was cleaner but they are in the same condition. That's all I can think of. Next MOT due 23/04/2025, Black, 5+ owners, £2,000
