Description

Reluctantly selling due to saving for a house deposit. Check the feature list and images for a spec list, the formatting on this site isn't optimal for listing things! I bought the car completely standard in December 2017, taking it to where it is now. Any time something's needed replacing it's been done. Underneath and paint-wise, this Z looks like most 20-year old motors which have been subjected to our roads, though the body kit still looks fresh (fitted by Big Bear in 2022). Some suspension components would benefit from being replaced including the rear camber and traction arms - perfectly functional just not nice to look at and easy to do. The rear anti-roll bar was picked up on MOT so I've got new front and rear upgrades (including links and bushes) from Whiteline which will be included in the sale. Engine-wise it's mostly standard, with the cats still present though it would benefit from some nice high-flow cats as they're getting a bit scabby. Also picked up on MOT is the restraint system light, which is a result of the steering wheel and can be solved with a 2 ohm resistor (usually lasts about a year between). New battery, alternator, coilpacks, spark plugs and starter motor within the last 3k miles. Oil is always nice and clean. Reg check will pick up the smaller brakes which the car came with, so make sure to ask for Brembo sizes. Rears are standard. Rebuilt the rear brake lines as they had corroded through (thankfully noticed this whilst pressure testing the front brakes). 'Banana' compression arms done which cause a lot of knocking issues on the 350Z. Replaced the transmission cooling lines which are a huge PITA to source from Japan. Next on my fix list was the driver's side rear wheel (pictured); essentially the clear coat started to lift and only got worse as it wasn't bonded to the surface properly. SSR wasn't able to help due to being out of warranty. MLC Wheels CV370RN were happy to take it on but any reputable split-rim refurber shouldn't have an issue. Apart from the clear coat issue on the one wheel, they polish up beautifully and sit great when aired down. I've got the original wheels and bonnet, as well as a ProRam cone air filter which will be included in the sale. The worst part of the exterior is easily the rear spoiler, which I painted in the garage and is starting to lift on the passenger side. I work 4 on/4 off shifts so leave a message if interested! Happy to add photos, open to offers. Please give 24h notice. Cheers, Dan. Next MOT due 07/03/2025, Silver, 3 owners, £18,000
