For sale is my 2002 BMW 530d E39 Sport Touring, finished in the classic Titan Silver with a black leather interior. It has covered 167000 miles, has MOT to October 2025, and shows 4 previous keepers from new. Interior wise, it's in good order. The leather seats are in good condition, with some bolster wear to the drivers seat but no tears. This car benefits from a factory 16:9 widescreen television display with sat nav, traffic master, 6CD changer, cassette player, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, dual zone climate control, electric windows, heated mirrors and washer jets, auto dimming rear view mirror, and electric side mirror adjustment. Exterior wise it requires some attention. It has various patches of lacquer peel, flat paint, and some spots of rust around the arches and tailgate. It also has the odd scuff and age related mark. It does still present well and the wheels are genuine BMW style 66 that clean up beautifully. Mechanically, it's in good order, it runs and drives well, the engine and gearbox are smooth, it has had new control arms, fuel pump, coolant pump, thermostats, coolant pipes, expansion tank, auxiliary fan, gearbox service, EGR clean, vortex breather, and so much more (I have a spreadsheet). The steering is beautifully smooth, and the self levelling suspension works a treat. The headlights have been rebuilt with new BiXenon projectors that work exceptionally well, and overall the car is a joy to drive. In terms of whats left to do, the headlight washer system has a leak and the bodywork might want attention at some point. Overall it's a rare example of a lovely car, a modern classic that you really can enjoy as was intended. I've been using it as a daily driver for over 2 years, having recently returned from a Scotland road trip.
