Dacia Sandero Stepway 0.9 TCe Comfort 5dr Petrol Hatchback, , The no-nonsense appeal of Dacias crossover twist on the Sandero looks even more appealing with fresh colours and new branding. While the standard Sandero is the embodiment of Dacias bargain brand ethos the Sandero version offers a little more in the way of style and substance thanks to its chunkier crossover looks and some feelgood garnish for the fixtures and fittings. Its a little more expensive as a result, though still very affordable compared with rivals. A recent update has added Dacias new logo and corporate look to the grille, introduced some fashionably earthy colours and aligned the Stepways looks with the Jogger and Duster but, other than that, its business as usual. Unashamedly basic and no worse for it. The fact its based on more modern foundations than the previous Stepway means Dacia can include a lot more of the safety tech modern drivers expect, the extra cost over the Sandero offset by the more generous range of assistance systems. Even the most basic version gets automated emergency braking if you fail to respond to hazards in your path, airbags front and rear, two Isofix child seat mounts in the back, hill start assistance and an emergency E-call system.
