Description
For sale is my 2009 Alfa Romeo Mito 1.4T Veloce finished in Grigio Techno grey metallic with 12 months MOT. I've owned this car for 5 years and will be very sad to see it go, but I've decided it's time for something different. This has the t-jet engine (no multiair to worry about) and is the 155bhp model. This is mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox. It's done just shy of 115,000 miles. I've not spared a penny looking after this car. During my ownership, it's had: Timing belt kit, water pump and auxiliary belt replaced (Gates items) Clutch replaced (LUK 3 piece clutch kit) New radiator, Original Brembo 4-pot front brake callipers refurbished to original red finish, M32 gearbox rebuilt with bearings replaced, boot wiring loom replaced (done correctly using a loom repair kit, not soldering broken wires back together), new rear wheel bearings, new front suspension springs, new Yuasa battery 2 years ago (still under 5 yr warranty). It's got a comprehensive service history both before and during my ownership. In the last year I've also replaced the alternator as that failed, replaced the brake discs and pads front and rear, and have just replaced the coolant bottle and done a transmission fluid change and an engine oil and filter change, and replaced the air filter. As it's the Veloce model, it's got some nice features: Electric windows & mirrors, hill holder/start assist, cruise control, Alfa brushed aluminium pedal covers. It has a few OEM+ upgrades which really set it apart: Black headlining from a Mito cloverleaf, Flat-bottomed steering wheel from a later Mito (I spent ages looking for one of these as they are so much nicer than the original item), Very rare red illuminated Alfa Romeo sill kick plates. Never seen another car with these! Comes with a Sony Bluetooth stereo too. It is a 15 year old car, so it's not without its age related features, too: Some rust beginning to appear at the bottom of the front wings. Front suspension top mounts are slightly noisy, however doesn't affect the drive. Some stonechip damage to the front bumper and bonnet, and some age related scratches here and there. It's HPI clear (report available for you to view), comes with 2 keys and stacks of history. If you're looking for a small, cheap car, you really can't get much better than this. Very nippy and great fun to drive and returns over 40mpg. Next MOT due 03/12/2025, Grey, 5+ owners, £2,250
