Description
Fiat 500 for saleThis car has had lots of recent work to get it back on the road after around a year of underground storage while SORN due to the owner emigrating, leaving the car behind with a friend. The car had almost every fault that is common with Fiat 500's when I purchased it two months ago, so the new owner can rest assured these have all been taken care of and the car now drives very well. I bought the car to fix up and sell on, I am one of the three previous owners. The car has an INCORRECT CAT N (non structural) written off marker against it, dated 8th August 2021. This write off never occurred and is a clerical error from the insurance company. I am in the process of getting this removed with the previous owner, if it isn't not removed by the time of veiwing, a discount to the price can be discussed. Work completed includes:-New front control arms (with bushings and ball joint)-New front shock absorbers, springs, bump stops and strut top mounts.-New engine oil sump.-Blue and Me module repaired (battery drain fault repaired)-New Battery.-New alternator(was replaced by a garage during previous ownership when chasing the battery drain fault)-Both front brake disks cleaned up/reconditioned.-New front brake pads.-New front brake calliper slider pins.-New areal base (for radio).-Service (Engine oil, oil filter and air filter replaced.)-Wheel Alignment.-New remote key.-New headlight and DRL bulbs. There is some general cosmetic damage such as small scratches and chips in paint as well as some kerb damage on the wheels. Unfortunately the cars service history had been lost by the previous owner during her emigration. She has assured me the timing belt was replaced at approx 70,000 miles, I had a look at the belt and have no reason not to believe her as it looks to be in very good condition. Engine oil was pretty clean and air filter was almost spotless, suggesting the car had been serviced not long before it was SORN. Fresh years MOT on the car with only 1 advisory for a front tyre worn close to legal limit. I considered replacing this however there is still at least 1000 miles of wear left, so will leave that for next owner to replace in due course. With all the common faults already repaired, this should make a very reliable and pleasant to drive car for the next owner. Fuel economy is also excellent. Any questions or to discuss viewing, call or text Max on 07519185122. Next MOT due 18/11/2025, White, 3 owners, £3,800
