For sale my 1998 Land Rover Defender 300tdi with 253,254 miles on the clock. I'll start with the bad Sold at the moment with no MOT and currently stored in a barn (been stored for 2 years due to my work out of country). To pass an MOT it requires a bit of welding to the rear half of the chassis. Welding it up would give it another 3-4 years before a chassis swap is probably needed. I haven't got the work done yet as it's not in use, but if it doesn't sell in the next few months I will MOT it to help it sell. On to the good! The rest of the car is in good condition. The bulk head is solid as is the engine although it does have relatively high miles. It drives great and has a disco transfer case which makes cruising on the motorway a little nicer. Engine hasn't been tuned and is running factory standard apart from an EGR blank. I've fitted a new fuel tank, rear wheel carrier, head lining and some sound deadening mats. Twice yearly services, interior is in good condition for the age. Your options if you buy it:1. Export it to the US while it's on its original chassis.2. Plan for a chassis swap in a few years.3.
