Description

For sale is our 1.25 litre petrol manual Fiesta MK V 2007 Zetec DOHC 75hp. We have covered approximately 20k miles in it since September 2019. Since we've had it, it has had the following done to her: New cam belt and tensioner, new V belts, new spark plugs, new battery, four all season tyres Maxxis Premitra DOT20 were fitted in 2020. These are good on snow and you will get ahead of any Quattro which is on summer tyres (proven a few years ago), I fitted a new starter motor during Covid as a precaution, the lambda (oxygen sensor) decided to Open loop after this, so I replaced it. I had to renew the fifth gear cover gasket at some point as I noticed a few droplets of oil now and again, and renewed the gearbox oil as a result of this. I have serviced the car every year at around 4000 miles intervals. It also has new front brake discs & front brake pads, new clutch as of last year, new rear muffler and few months back I replaced the rear shocks and springs because missus started hearing a knock from the rear top mounts. I polished the front lights and sealed them with UV resin recently so they should be OK for another couple of years. It has been driven on V-power 99 petrol since we've had it, so it's quite nippy for 75 hp DOHC ford engine. The handbrake works good, so does the central heating. I think the Air Con could do with a top-up. Folding mirrors work, radio works, the CD Player works, the tyres hold pressure, the spare has never been used by the looks of it, it has a jack and a towing hook. I fitted a dashcam which is hardwired and starts with the ignition, the wipers are good. Known bugs: cosmetics aren't perfect, it is a 17 year old car, the alloys could do with a refurb, at least one bulb will go once a year but that's a ford, right... Being a ford, there is a bit of a cold start cam rattle but with a brand new oil, you'll get that lowered by at least 10%...Bear in mind the road tax on these huge engines will go up in price as of next year... Oh-a, I fitted a new pollen filter with the previous oil change so you should be fine another 5000 miles. V5 present, two keys. Next MOT due 31/07/2025, Purple, 5+ owners, £1,400
