Description

2001 BMW X5 4.4i M-Sport. A rare chance to own a unique, future classic! NEW MOTMOT till October 2025! Ready to drive awayRegrettably selling my brilliant V8 (M62) M-Sport X5. Sporting an Oxford Green exterior and Sand Beige interior leather, finished in the Dark Poplar Wood interior trim. Featuring an automatic, 5-speed gearbox mated to a permanent four wheel drive system. Mileage is at a low, 96,000!Such a head turner given the smart colourway and the resonator taken out, creating a ridiculously good V8 soundtrack! (Although not loud unless you make it)Comes with a comprehensive service history, spanning many years, with a large percentage of these being done at BMW Dealers or Indy's, finishing with a few local garages taking care of it. No lights on the dash, no oil being burned, no coolant issues, this car is fantastic!I purchased the car earlier this year as a V8 project with aims in mind of different cams, full exhaust etc, however have not driven it much due to other commitments. It came to me having already had a full service so it hasn't needed anything in my time due to lack of use. The tyres are all good at each point. Also comes with a functioning sunroof with no leaks, the amazing Style 63 Tiger Claw alloys, electric seats in the front, air conditioning, central locking and an upgraded head unit (speakers are good for an old set!). Interesting note is that this is the last year with the beautiful E46 instrument cluster, the later have the somewhat uglier white trim. There are only a few notes to add about small defects with this vehicle, firstly the boot doesn't open without the use of the button on key or dash, this isn't an issue really it just needs a new tailgate button/trim section. On startup the gearbox failsafe message has very occasionally come up, however this is cured by starting the vehicle again until it removes itself, it's never been a problem and I can only note it happening once, maybe twice in my time (apparently a common symptom with no cause or cure). The bodywork in areas shows wear, the front bumper on the plastic section has a small tear and the rear bumper has some small damages across. Some interior wear as shown also. The car is now 23 odd years old and still looks amazing, however it's worth pointing out! This car is fantastic and needs someone to appreciate it. This term is thrown around a lot, but these are definitely a future classic, especially in this colour and engine combination! Most of these E53. Next MOT due 16/10/2025, Green, 5+ owners, £3,999
