Here's my tastefully upgraded (using all BMW or OEM only parts) BMW 530i Sport Touring. If you're looking for an E39 then you likely already know that it's pretty much the perfect blend of performance and practicality and one of the greatest cars ever made. A couple of sensible upgrades have modernised and future-proofed it, for e.g. The suspension is all only about 4 years old now and has turned it from a bit of a wallowy boat into a far more planted and safer-feeling car at all speeds with NO compromise to interior noise or ride comfort. I've used it as a family car alongside our daily driver and it's been amazing, but my partner finds it to be too long and heavy to steer, and I feel like a change from BMW after owning 3 in a row for the last 16 years, two E30s and then this for the last 5.5 years. Over that time I've treated it to the benefits of Bilstein and Eibach suspension, and a four wheel alignment at String Theory garage, which has transformed the car's driving dynamics while maintaining the self-levelling rear suspension and comfortable ride. The interior is in great condition for the 21 years it's been in use for, and I have installed a CD deck and later model radio to work with the fantastic BlueBus () bluetooth unit which has enabled access to adjust settings on the car of which my favourite is such as "one touch" indicators (i've settled on 5 flashes!). In the engine bay, it has had a new alternator two months ago, a new PCV, and I've had the horribly-unreliable DISA valve replaced by a unit from Probsten Tech which will likely outlast the car itself! I replaced both rear vapour barriers myself, and changed the door lock actuators at the same time since one of them was starting to delay which is a sign of it failing. Contact me to arrange a viewing and experience the difference between this and other E39s for yourself!. Next MOT due 30/05/2025, Silver, 5+ owners, £9,500
