Description

Gather round, folks. What we have here is a tale of romance, ambition, and one colossal colour-based mistake. Last year, I decided to surprise my wife with the car of her dreams a Land Rover Discovery 4. A stunning chariot for ferrying our beloved dogs to their doggy escapades. I searched high and low, rejected countless so-called "immaculate" heaps of rubbish, then finally stumbled upon *the one*. A deep metallic green beauty with buttery cream leather seats. Perfect, right? WRONG. Turns out, my wife's affection for this majestic machine ends where the paint job begins. That's right, she hates green, who knew! not me! She hates it with the fiery passion most reserve for pineapple on pizza or slow WiFi. I told the missus "the queen drove green ones" and "It'll grow on you," I said (well more like begged) But, the only thing that grew on her was a determination to never drive it. So, my mistake is your opportunity. Behold this lovingly maintained Discovery 4: Two previous owners, one being the dealer, then owned in the most part by a mature gent who owned and cherished it up to July 2024 when I then purchased it. 97k'ish miles (average to low for its age), and so clean it would make a Nun smile. The unmarked buttery cream leather interior screams luxury, and everything inside is in working order because, well, it's barely been touched. Carpet mats? Got 'em, gorgeous LR carpet and also a second set of rugged LR winter mats. Seats six and seven, mint condition, why? because nobody's ever sat in them. The exterior; excellent, save for a tiny ding (courtesy of a careless car park, not me!) that you can barely see (and easily fixed) and some minor weathering (not curbed nor scored) on the wheels easily spruced up when the moment is right. It's been pampered by a main dealer and LR specialists, and it drives as smooth as butter on a hot pancake. It stands unused by the wife, me and the dogs! Now, if you're someone who appreciates class, comfort, and (most importantly) the colour green, this is your lucky day. Come snag this nearly-perfect Discovery 4 and save me from hearing "but it's green" one more time. Two keys, a folder full of paperwork and just MOT'd perfectly. As for the price; Yes its at the upper end but this one really is immaculate! Turns out, its easier to change a car than change the wife (so I'm "told").
