This was a fantastic car with no issues until it broke down, took it to a garage in Northampton after AA said it was a high-pressure diesel pump, the garage diagnosed the issue as an in tank pump, as this was a lot cheaper I had cam belt and water pump replaced as due, and asked for diesel filter to be replaced, once work was done after initially forgetting to do the diesel filter, took over the road for two new tyres. Few days later broke down again, taken back to garage and told its under warranty as pump had seized, then car taken to a Jaguar main dealer and initially said it was the diesel filter because it was not original, once replaced will be fine, told them to look a bit closer, they rang back a month later and said the pump has seized and stripped the cam belt and damaged rockers easiest way is to replace the engine. Jaguar said it was not their fault but it was fitted wrong, the garage said it was not so nobody taking any responsibility. A year leaving me in debt and a lovely car that I cannot afford to repair after spending over three thousand to fix it in the first place. Currently stored at the garage to view so need to arrange viewing. Possible able to assist with transportation as currently not drivable.
