Description

I've owned this car since July 2013, it is fantastic to drive, so easy going and comfortable, but it's time for a change. I'm a workshop manager and mechanic, so have maintained this car myself, or used good mechanics for jobs I didn't fancy doing myself, I've always used quality parts throughout its time with me, it even has a full set of Michelin Cross Climate tyres, last one fitted in July 2024. It's had the cam belt, water pump and all oils changed recently - key dates in the photos. Its full leather, cruise control, dual zone climate control including air con, electric driver's seat, electric windows, electric heated mirrors, front and rear hard wired dash cams, upgraded Android radio, steering wheel controls. Hands free Bluetooth phone, phone holder with QI wireless charging. Dynaudio speakers and amplifier. Spare wheel, front and rear parking sensors, and reversing camera. Flat tyre warning system. The gearbox is traditional automictic, and not the later troublesome DSG box. MPG ranges between 30 to 44 mpg, depending on how its driven. The boot is huge, the rear seats slide forwards increasing boot space whilst still being able to take five people in total, they also fold flat for a much larger boot space. For the age and mileage of the vehicle it is in good condition, yes there are some marks, and car park dint's, the wheels which were replaced a few years back have some marks, and a little corrosion, but I think its good for its age. The panoramic roof does not open, it is sealed shut - these are notorious for leaking, and after a lot of effort trying to stop it leaking, I gave up and I very carefully sealed it shut (I never used it anyway!), it looks pretty much factory finish and has never leaked since. The Android radio has some quirks, the main one being if you turn the ignition off and don't take the key out you have no sound after about 5 seconds - until you remove the key and then put it back in again and turn the ignition on, but you get used to it.
