Description
New car (switching to EV) forces the sale of my 2014 Vauxhall Ampera Electron (MY13). I purchased the car back in 2021, and I never had any issues with it since. It's been regularly maintained; I can provide all the invoices. If you are looking for a cheap to run and reliable car, look no further. Zero tax (although this will increase to 20 soon), and cheap to insure.
Good bits:
- Brand new (really, like 2 weeks old) 12V battery
- 4 still new-ish Uniroyal Rainsport 5 tyres (0224 DOT)
- Recent oil & filters change
- 2 set of keys
- Volt parcel shelf (instead of the factory fitted "hammock")
- Remote start/stop system (CWM-400)
- Upgraded HID headlights (Stealth-X 55W Xenon Kit)
- Comes with a Type2 to Type1 charging cable and a 3-pin plug granny charger
- Standard Ampera Electron perks:
- Bose premium audio system
- Reversing camera and parking
sensors at the front and back
- Automatic headlights
- Cruise control, etc.
Not so good bits:
- Age related marks on bodywork
- Small chip on the windscreen that has been repaired, but still visible. It's outside of the driver's view and only came up as advisory on MOT once.
