Description
We've owned this great car for 11 years and have looked after it really well. It has 6 months MoT, good tyres and a recent timing belt.
Equipment: Climate control - Cruise control - Towbar.
Comes with: Thule detachable roof bars - Spare number plate for trailer - Half a tank of fuel
Skoda/ independent serviced to 60,000 miles, since then serviced by me, strictly 'by the book', as I don't trust most mechanics to do a proper job. I've 50+ years' experience.

* Very rarely driven hard, as I drive for relaxation/ economy

New timing/ cambelt at 124,00miles (Oct 2023). Also new rollers, tensioners and coolant pump.
Goodyear tyres all round, all with even wear and lots of tread.
MoT expires 19.07.25. Tax 200 pa.
2 litre, 16v 'PD' engine. PD engines are renowned for reliability and durability. This variant also produces much more power and torque than the more common 1.9 8v unit, and there's no DPF to block on this model.
The car's had all the items you might expect to replace in a mid-life VAG diesel (all OEM parts):
* Turbo
* Clutch
* Dual mass flywheel
* Brake discs and callipers
* Tandem fuel pump
* Exhaust gas recirculation valve
* Front exhaust including catalytic converter
* Bosch battery
A replacement ECU's been fitted by respected specialists Darkside Developments. While mapping it to suit the engine, the opportunity was taken to increase power to 186hp, without affecting economy/ driveability. I rarely use the extra power, but it's nice knowing it's there!
The bodywork's virtually rust free and only has a few minor dents/ scratches (see pics of rear door and tailgate). There is surface bubbling on the wheels, though.
Rear seats fold 60/40 and the floor (1710 x 1190) is dead flat when they're down. There's a handy compartment below, for the roof bars and brackets, etc.
Everything works as it should, and the car drives as though it were a decade younger.
