Description

Year & Model: 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Mileage: 116,000 miles Location History: Texas (1988-1994) Exported to Tokyo (1994-2018) Imported to the UK (2018) Purchased by me in 2022 Condition Highlights: Exterior: Excellent paintwork with only a few minor marks. Absolutely no dents or rust. Interior: Completely new interior installed 2 years ago, including new headlining and kickplates. Mechanical: Runs great. I've taken it on multiple long trips, and it hasn't missed a beat. Wheels & Tyres: Fitted with brand-new tyres last year. Electrical: All switches, central locking, windows etc. work save for the issues mentioned below. Exhaust: It has an uprated exhaust, makes a great V8 rumble.. Garage Kept: Always stored indoors at home and sent to private storage during the winter (it's only back with me now as I am selling it). It has also had a two stage polish and full ceramic coating at a cost of 800. Points to note: Number Plate is not included: We will put this back onto an age relevant plate (I think it will go onto a F plate). o Winch: The front winch doesn't work, but looks good, so I have left it on. My garage has said it could be fixed if needed. o Driver's Side Issues: o Passenger window motor runs but appears to be disconnected. o Central locking for this door also doesn't work. The lock can be manually pushed down but hasn't been tested to avoid potential issues. Parts for repairs are readily available from the US and if you read the forums, it's a common issues. o The windows also don't like going all the way down (this is common to the model, look on youtube, they all have this issue). Service History: Unfortunately it was lost during its import from Tokyo, but the car's condition speaks for itself (also please check the MOT history). Regularly driven on long trips without any issues. It's a great car and gets loads of admiration. These cars are becoming highly collectible and there is a potential side line for film / tv work. To my knowledge there are less than 15 of these in the UK and ours is in great condition. If you have any questions or would like me to send you a couple of videos please let me know.
