E91 (BMW 3 Series Estate) 330d Manual, panoramic sunroof - a rare combination, as most of the 330d are either E90 E92 or Autos. Grey leather interior. Last owner had it for about 8years, serviced regularly by himself, ton of paperwork, please check the images. I work as an automotive engineer and I bought this car in November 2023 as a non-runner, with the intention to fix/rebuild the engine and to use it as a family car. Unfortunately more than a year later I still haven't found the time to rebuild the engine as priorities have changed and most of my spare time over the past 6months was used to build a garden room/office space which is close to completion now. I don't have a garage; therefore, I am heavily dependent on the weather. It was not easy to come to this conclusion, but I must sell it as it is. MAIN ISSUE WITH THE ENGINE: * As mentioned above the engine turns freely, but it doesn't start, after some diagnostic, cylinder no. 1 has no compression, whilst the other 5 cylinders have some compression albeit low. This might be pointing towards a timing issue or a flooded engine. You can see from the pictures the top part of the engine, camshafts, rockers etc, there is no damage in the top part, all rockers are intact. The top chain between the camshafts and the high-pressure fuel pump is intact and has no slack. * I am more inclined to believe the engine was flooded although I can't confirm that 100% without taking it apart, to see if the conrods are bent or not. I will not take the cylinder head apart and risk flash rust on all surfaces. Other known issues: * Front passenger door bubbling in the lower part. * One tear in the rear back seat, a small section could be changed or the whole backseat, check pictures please. * Some scuffs on the rear bumper. * Slight bent in the roof/boot where the wiring loom comes through. * One cup holder is stuck in. * Driver's door seal needs replacing. * Heating blower seems to be stuck on, most likely a bad blower or a short circuit, it's easy to access and to replace if needed. * Sunroof is quite temperamental; it works but at times it gets stuck and then needs a reset. * Split tailgate not working
