This Vehicle is LHD. It has a build date of AUG 1992 and was first registered in Qatar shortly after in 92/93. I bought the car in 1996 and imported it to the UK in 2000. There is no service history as I thought I would keep the car until it was a rust stain on my driveway so never bothered recording anything. How was I to know that it would refuse to breakdown or biodegrade ? It has not however lacked in maintenance and has had regular changes of fluids, filters, brake fluid etc. It has had new fuel injectors fitted, and very recently had plugs, coil, plug leads, distributor cap and rotor arm replaced. A new exhaust was fitted just last year. In 2001 the head gasket was replaced and in the early 2000s a new ignition barrel was fitted due to sticking keys. It comes with a full set of keys as supplied when new. The interior is in pristine condition with no rips scuffs splits or tears and it has a full set of Mercedes fitted floormats in a hard compsite material. Externally there is no visible rust apart from minor bubbling at front offside wheel arch ( see pic ) but the paintwork is not perfect and shows some chips and minor scratches plus swirl marks from T cutting, Clay and polishing. Underneath the chassis and drivetrain compnents are all sound and no welding ever done or needed. I have mainly used it as a second car, sometimes a third car and even had it SORNed for a few years. All dash lights work, and none are illuminated once car is started. It runs well and changes gear smoothly. A/C works. Sun roof has recently become a bit sticky, but Im sure is fixable. All in all its a very sound and very reliable vehicle. Its certainly not concours or show condition, but its better than most out there. I should note that it also comes with a custom made breathable cover which is in "as new" condition. ODO shows 110,000 but reality is closer to 120,000. I had a new ( used ) "miles " ODO fitted on import which subsequently seized, then fitted another. The alloy wheels although 33 years old look almost good as new when clean and polished.
