Description
This vehicle was rated 4B which is very good condition on auction paperwork, imported from Japan in July 2023 to the UK by specialist dealer. The car was SVA, MOT and had the required modifications to use on UK roads. The car had done 63,030 warranty miles having a BMTA certificate of warranty mileage. Notwithstanding its full history (albeit in Japanese) I had the car AA inspected and it was given a full clean bill of health as well for added peace of mind.
This car is the Executive L version, so has the captain middle row seats which almost recline flat for a nice nap, are heated and cooled, and have the foot rests. Trimmed in a very nice two tone leather this is a real luxury vehicle and can seat 7 if required with very flexible interior.
I have own this marvellous MPV for little over a year, bought for a range of specific purpose to help transport my father in-law around to various hospital appointments and outings to the shops and lunch at various pub! At 94, though he was very mobile he no longer could drive himself safely and this was the perfect vehicle for his transport and mine at 67 easy to get in and out off. It also enabled me to helped transport my daughter taking her to events to sell her vintage items at various fayres around the southern counties.
It is fitted with every conceivable electric gadgets, powered sliding side and soft close doors, remote rear tailgate, heated seats and long electric sliding roof over the middle seats and a smaller tilt front sun roof, all with sun blinds.
The car has a eco mode to maximise economy and manual selector to do manual changes in sporting mode.
I am only selling as I no longer have the need, father-in-law less need, and daughter planning to move out on her own later this year.
It is fitted with the best engine and gearbox the 3.5 V6 which is smooth, powerful at 285 bhp, and has a 6 speed automatic gearbox, all changes smoothly through the gears. This is the front will drive version so a little more economic than the fixed four wheel drive versions returning 26-30 mpg average economy. I did also look as Nissan similar MPV but they are just not put together as well as the Alphard/Vellfire Toyotas. I would stay well clear of the previous version 2008-2012 versions fitted with the smaller 4 pot, 2.4 engines, though OK, have horrid CVT gearboxes.
Vellfire are the more sport offering to the very similar Alphard and means Velvet with Passion hence "Vellfire" name. Often converted to campervan
