Wonderful example of a Modern Classic Volkswagen gold GTI. Both interior and exterior in excellent condition. Interior is un-tampered and like setting foot in a Volkswagen Showroom in 1998. A new 12 Months MOT on the vehicle. Many years ago it was classed as a Cat N write off, due to a bump on the front nearside wing. All was rectified many years prior to us owning the vehicle. Car features: Full Central Locking. Full electric windows front and rear. Clean tidy interior and exterior. Air conditioning needs a new condenser, however a new one is supplied still in the box. VR6 BBS multi spoke alloy wheels fitted all round. Bilstein Shocks fitted all round. 30mm lowered springs. Recent Timing belt and tensioners, within last 3k miles. Car wants for nothing. A good solid example of this model. Getting less and less very good Mark 3 GTI's out there. This is one of them. Being the 8 valve engine in this, the insurance is reasonable even for the younger driver. Not many miles driven over the last 12 months, as we decided to reduce the road use, to better weather, and start to keep the vehicle off road during bad weather, wanting to preserve this car longer. The plan was to start taking the vehicle to shows over the next year or so, however that has not come to fruition for us.
