Porsche 944 S 16v in Guards red with Porsche script light grey leatherette interior. 1987 E reg with 139k miles. Just had service and MOT This car has had quite a life with a lot of may spent over the years. The original 2.5 16v engine was replaced back in 1996 with a 3.0litre S2 engine. This has now been totally rebuilt with new cast liners and custom pistons; the engine has covered just over 1000 miles since re installation by a Porsche specialist. The bodywork is good having any rust issues corrected (these cars are galvanised so don't have many issues) the paint work is good and looks great in Guards red. The front and rear shock absorbers have been rebuilt by Nickson Motorsport as Porsche no longer supply the front shocks. Overall, the car looks great sat on wider alloys and with up graded parts such as brakes and steering wheel etc. Probably not a car for a purist with having the up grades but in my opinion everything that has been done to a high standard has improved the car. There is a large history file dating back to the early 1990s and shows all the work that has been completed. The private registration is not included and will be removed prior to sale.
