Description
Lotus Elise S2 - K-Series Engine - Pure Driving Bliss Awaits!
It breaks my heart to let this car go, but I'm moving to a home on an unmade road with no garage - sadly, not the right environment for a car of this calibre. So, it's time to find a new home for my pride and joy - someone who will care for it as much as I have.
Key Features:
Full MOT history and a fresh 12-month MOT valid until 7th May 2026
1.8L K-Series engine (original Rover unit - not the Toyota variant)
5-speed manual gearbox - direct, mechanical, and engaging
Kerb weight under 860kg - featherlight, agile, and an absolute joy to drive
0-60 in ~5.1 seconds - quick enough to thrill every time
Mid-engine layout - exceptional balance and sublime cornering
Stunning metallic silver exterior with black interior - sleek, subtle, and stylish
Removable soft top - enjoy open-air motoring whenever the sun's out
Comprehensive list of high-end upgrades (detailed below)
Well-Maintained & Loved
Enthusiast-owned and cared for meticulously. I've personally serviced it throughout my 6 years of ownership. It's never been tracked under my care (and was reportedly never tracked by the previous owner either), and it's always been garaged. Just a few small stone chips as you'd expect from honest use - otherwise, it's in fantastic condition for its age, with low mileage (only 3300 miles in my ownership) and a strong future as an appreciating classic.
During my ownership, I've had it re-mapped and fitted a new starter motor.
Upgrades & Performance
(Over 15,000 invested by previous owner - all receipts included):
Ported and polished cylinder head
Maxogen induction system
52mm throttle bodies
Pagid performance pads
Full engine rebuild during upgrade process
Nitron NTR40 adjustable dampers (suspension completely overhauled)
Piper 633 cams & vernier pulleys
Emerald ECU with custom map
Upgraded water pump
Powder-coated wheels
111R-spec Yokohama AD07 tyres
Performance Note:
Factory K-Series Elises were made around 120bhp. Lotus later introduced the 111S and 111R, with the 111R offering 180bhp but often felt a bit too track-focused for everyday road use. This particular car strikes the perfect middle ground - producing around 154bhp, it delivers exceptional balance, torque, and drivability, all while sounding absolutely glorious. Every upgrade has been done with respect to the Lotus ethos - lightweight, purposeful, and using only the best components.
