Description

Magnificent and Unique ! As it left the factory. Surely the finest HiCap in the UK for sale . I can't see any advertised that come close... Defender 110 300Tdi HiCap HCPU Very very rare in this condition and specification....ideal export to USA. The 300Tdi engine is acknowledged as Land Rover's best. This 1994 Defender 110 High-Capacity Pick up is stunning in every respect. It's pretty much original paint throughout. Even the wheels are original paint. Brand new MOT last week. Drives beautifully with PAS. Good mpg on recent 200 mile trip. The panels are straight not rusty. The underside is protected and solid. This isn't a tired old truck like so many. It must be unique... 2 former keepers, the second owner was T Elliott, Land Rover main dealer, they owned it for 16 years in which time it only travelled 12K miles, they maintained and M.O.T. ed it every 12 months, changing the cam belt at 100K, it comes with 18 M.O.T. certificates and a vehicle service log book, Just had 4 new Avon range master tyres, radiator, brake pipes, rear half shafts, hood, 4 shock absorbers, service it needs nothing, Its is in excellent condition inside and out, never sprayed or welded, very straight, chassis is in excellent condition the panels are very straight, This is a very well maintained Defender completely original which has done only light work. Low mileage and low owners it has been cosseted and cherished. Not abused and bashed around like so many. Brand new sand coloured canopy cover and galvanized hoops. This could be used for glamping with a mattress in the back. Known in short as the "Hi-Cap", the High-Capacity pick up (HCPU) is a rarely seen Defender configuration in Europe and even more so in the United States, standing out as an unusual and rare collectible. It's equipped with diesel power, right-hand drive authenticity and is one unique pick-up truck. The front retains the same boxy design and the overall features of a regular Defender and with the shape and style of a good ole fashioned and utilitarian pick-up truck bed in the rear. It's powered by a 300Tdi diesel engine with just 121K miles and runs and drives superbly. With its 2.5lt turbocharged direct injection (Tdi) technology paired with the robust R380 5-speed manual gearbox, it provides great power, torque, longevity, and reliability. The simplicity and ease of maintenance of a 300Tdi engine, as well as being powerful and economical, it makes for an ideal vehicle for fun and work.
