We are emigrating and need to part with our beloved VW Caravelle. We have owned this vehicle since 2015. We have a Full Service History, with the most recent being a full service with VW Martins Garage in Basingstoke. The Caravelle has electric sliding doors, TWO keys, and a VW bike rack. MOT is due end of July. The tyres are in good condition as reported in the recent full service. The gear box oil has just been changed, and the cam belt is new this year. The seats are covered in grey Nappa Leather. In terms of problems, they are minor, I have listed them here (and provided photos) and reduced the price accordingly: there are some minor scratches you would expect after 11 years. There is a small dent (15cm) on the front left bumper, and very small dent (5cm) on door above petrol cap, there is a cracked section on rear left reflector, and a small dent (10cm) under door rail on right hand side. There is also some rust under door rail on left have side. The cup holder bottoms have come off in the front, and there are also clasps missing from the lid to the tool box area in the boot. I have been open about the issues so you know what to expect when viewing. The van has been perfect for our family over the years, and runs well, starting with no problem every time. We have completed services annually as expected. There are no cracks on the glasswork, and all systems other than those mentioned above are in good working order (windscreen wash and wipers, assisted steering, brakes (pads were changed in 2024, and wheels were aligned). The Caravelle has a table in between the two individual seats in the back, and these seats can swivel. On of these seats has an integrated child seat which can be easily converted to a normal seat.. The van has never been used as a taxi ... we brought it when it was 11 months old. We are based in central Bracknell. We do not have insurance for third parties, so if you want to test drive it yourself (as opposed to being in the car while I do) you need to bring proof of insurance with you.
