Description

My late 2014 (MY25) BMW 320D, owned since September 2024 and covered around 15K trouble free miles. I bought the car to share miles with other cars as I do 800-1000mi a week for work. I love this car, but am selling to make room because my wife and I miss having an MX-5 for the weekends. Please contact me to view the car or ask any questions - I have honestly described the car below. Until March the car was immaculate, but a family member borrowed it for a day and damaged the rear bumper as shown in pics. I haven't repaired it due to a lack of time - I spend 4 days a week away in hotels so time is in short supply. This is an M Sport trim car, so the top trim level with different bumpers, steering wheel, badges and trims. In a great colour combination of Mineralgrau metallic with Schwarz Dakota full leather upholstery. It averages 50+ MPG in daily use but will happily get up to 65MPG on a longer run. Reliability of the '20D' N47 engines can be an issue. This car has the N47TU updated engine, and has history of regular oil changes. I've changed the oil and filter myself twice (last done 100mi ago) and in Oct 2024 it had a new pollen filter, fuel filter, and air filter. There is no rattling, misfiring, or symptoms of chain issues - plenty of these cars do well over 150K miles without issues as long as the oil is regularly changed. Has 2 WORKING fobs, SH with iDrive entries and some receipts/invoices, full, clean MOT until 16th June 2026, full V5, Pirelli runflat tyres all round with over 4mm tread, tools all present. Overall, condition of the car is very good. Lower than average mileage for the year at 91K miles and looked after mechanically, with a full clean MOT. Wheels are in generally good condition with a minor scuff on the nearside front wheel and a few chips which have been touched up. Mechanically, drives well, ZF8HP gearbox changes up and down smoothly, with quick kickdown, excellent power from the 184BHP diesel engine, no whining from the diff or noise from the drivetrain. No noisy wheel bearings, or untoward engine noises, smoke, or smells. No unexpected noise, knocks or bangs as one would expect with a car with a brand new MOT. Even the brakes are proper, marked, OE BMW discs and pads. Bodily, minor damage to rear bumper overall the body is very straight. In January a rock off the back of a truck on the A1 north hit the bonnet and chipped the new screen. The bonnet is scratched as a result which is really annoying.
