Description
The engine runs like a dream and just purrs, the drive is fantastically comfortable. cosmetically the car look very nice. In my opinion the paint work is not too bad but it has a few paint chips on the bonnet & rear side drivers side door, The fuel cap cover has just has a primer finish and around the fuel filling lid the paint is bubbling, there are small areas where the paint has lifted in general, the drivers seat is to be expected slightly worn, the other seat are fine. A number of years ago I had the window screen replaced, this leaked and damaged the foot well carpet on the passage side. The veneers are as to be expected on a car of this age, some areas have cracks, I purchased this Jag From Henley's approx. 30 years ago we had it for a few years, then sold it to my dad as we didn't really use it too much. When my dad passed in 2014 the car came back to me. Since 2014 the Jag has been rarely used, we just take it out for a long ride. The wheels and front grill were changed around 15 + years ago, apart from having the Jag deemed off road we have always made sure it had been MOT and serviced on a yearly basis. It has taken me some years to get used to the idea of selling the Jag, it is a beautiful looking car and for me it has many years of memories and emotional attachment. It can be used straight off the drive or for the right person a small project to bring it back to the condition of when it was new, or even for a project for the purest of Jag Lovers. The price listed is for the car as is.
I still have the original wheels all with good tyres, I also have a spare front bumper section which has been wrapped in protection for years, I believe I also have the original Hub caps for the old wheels somewhere. I also have two un-used tyres for the car. Should you be interested I am happy to negotiate on these items.
