Description

Aston Martin Vantage V8 Sportshift / 2006 / 57,500 miles. Full service history and invoices for work undertaken back to 2009 are included in the available documentation pack. This distinctive 'Sports / Tourer' car was owned and registered by AM for the first couple of years of its life and was used for development, testing, promotions and other events. Before releasing the car for sale Aston Martin reportedly added 2007 MY specification items and there is an email from AM in 2012 confirming its status at that time. The specification for the car is laid out in a separate section of the advert and, together with the photographs showing the stunning appearance, quality and details internally and externally, doesn't need to be repeated here. However, it is worth noting the following in addition to the factory specification and photos. The car is finished in stunning Toro Red finish with 7 spoke 19 inch anthracite wheels which have recently been re-finished and which together give the car a particularly distinctive and classy presence. Michelin Pilot sport 4S tyres were fitted all round approx. 6,000 miles ago and make a noticeable and improved difference to the ride and handling compared to the previous Bridgestone tyres. At 35,000 miles a Bamford Rose lightened flywheel and double clutch upgrade (costing over 4,400) was fitted and provides excellent and improved responsiveness in that particular department. The Aston has been professionally detailed and benefits from a protective coating to maintain its eye-catching appearance. The car currently has a personalised number plate which is not part of the sale package. In the interests of transparency I have included in the advert documentation a spreadsheet of the work undertaken and the costs that I have incurred in my 3 years of ownership which should provide information, confidence and understanding for prospective purchasers. The Aston is a wonderful, exciting and delightful experience to own and, much as AM did not describe it as such, I would categorise it as a 'Sports / Tourer' as it has seen active service from me in that manner on many memorable, trouble free and enjoyable trips around the UK in the time that I have owned it. If you are interested I would strongly recommend arranging a visit to come and inspect and then drive the car yourself. That would also give you the opportunity to go through the extensive documentation, invoices etc and to ask any questions that you may have.
