Description

Aston Martin DB7 i6 Volante automatic in metallic Mendip dark blue, matching hood and cream seats with blue piping to complement the dark blue and cream interior. The car has been dry stored since purchase in 2021 and only covered 2500 miles during that time. Due to the loss of the original handbook (replacement included in the sale), the car comes with partial service history dating back to 2016 but with plenty of invoice history from Aston Martin specialist Rikki Cann and more recently SST Motors run by an ex-Bloxham employee from when the car was built. The car's annual service was carried out in June and the MOT expires mid-May 2026. Two keys are included. "M1 VTG" private plate is included in the sale. Front tyres have only covered approximately 3000 miles while the rears have 2500 miles on them. The air-con was re-gassed in July 2024. The original stereo unit has been replaced by a Pioneer unit with Bluetooth connectivity (the original CD multichanger remain in position in the boot). Roof was partially re-hand stitched and a small hole repaired (see picture) by Harry Fraser (Bicester Heritage) in May 2024. The front screen has a small area of delamination in the bottom right side corner where there is a very small area of paint bubbling on the screen pillar (see picture). The dark blue leather dash top has suffered a small amount of shrinkage (see picture) which could be easily patched or replaced according to Harry Fraser. Comes with tailored blue floor mats, a lightweight outdoor cover and Noco Genius5 smart battery charger. I bought the car at auction from H&H having fallen in love with the beautiful colour scheme. Surely Mendip blue with the blue hood and cream/blue interior has to be the best for a DB7? The delight was to find just how solid the car remains after twenty-seven years with barely any interior squeaks or rattles with the roof up and only the smallest of leather-on-leather noise once the powered hood has been lowered. Certainly there are no mechanical issues to interrupt the enjoyment of a ride out, roof down enjoying the open road. The car came with the private plate "M1 VTG" which it is being sold with.
