A brilliant example of a classic sports car, this BMW has been mine for the last 11 years and has been serviced each year with an oil change alongside the recommended age/mileage advised component replacements. The car had a full underbody anti-rust treatment 10 years ago and again 5 years ago, and has not a speck of rust on it as a result. Being run on premium 98 petrol all its life, the engine has retained its power, has no mechanical issues and drives beautifully. It has wanted for nothing. However, due to mobility issues, I can no longer drive it and reluctantly must let it go. It would be entirely happy as your daily driver or a weekend car. It has just had a fresh service and four new tyres. Special SE trim and the stronger, more reliable 2.2-litre engine, this car has given me so much joy as an open-top driving experience.
