Description
For sale is my E90 BMW 330D Manual, finished in Vermillion Red over a black leather interior. It's been my daily driver for the past year and easily the best car I've owned. Sadly, due to increased driving in ULEZ zones after this summer, it has to go.
Mechanically, it's been incredibly reliable. Major work was done by the previous owner, and I've added ~30,000 miles with only regular servicing and a glow plug module replacement. The car was Stage 2 remapped in 2022, quoted at 320bhp and 700Nm. It pulls hard, returns 50mpg on the motorway, and doesn't blow excessive smoke under throttle.
Modifications & Upgrades:
Stage 2 remap (2022)
Koni SRT.T shocks (2022)
Big brake kit: F30 340mm 4-pot front calipers + discs, E60 535d rears
Braided brake lines
Subframe polybushed (2022)
Eibach E90 M-Sport springs (2022)
MV4 wheels
DPF gutted
Large intercooler
Major Maintenance:
Timing chain @ 102k miles
All 6 injectors
clutch & flywheel
New turbo @ 2022
Minor Maintenance (2024-2025):
Control arms
tie rods
wheel bearing
glow plug module
front drop link
strut mounts
Propshaft centre bearing
(All work is fully receipted.)
The car handles brilliantly and doesn't feel like a heavy diesel. The manual box, often underappreciated on this platform, still offers a satisfying driving experience. Suspension and bush upgrades help it feel tight and composed.
Cosmetic Condition:
Paintwork is good overall and comes up well after a polish, though there's lacquer peel on the bumpers and a sill mark. Wheels need refurbishment. I had planned to replace bumpers to complete an M-Sport conversion but never got around to it.
Interior:
Full M-Sport interior conversion with heated front seats (driver's side not yet wired or coded), correct HVAC panel, tweeters in door cards. Powerfold mirror retrofit was done, but they've since been reverted to standard due to electrical gremlins. Left mirror adjustment no longer works.
Bad Bits:
Heated seat (driver's side) not yet completed
Left mirror adjustment inoperative
Needs front tyres before next MOT
Lacquer peel on bumpers
It's not perfect, but for a 14-year-old car with ~140k miles, it's in great shape and has had thousands spent on it. I'm not in a rush to sell lowball offers will be ignored.
Test Drives:
I will drive first. If you bring valid ID and insurance, you're welcome to test drive it after.
