BMW 3 Series - Project Car - Needs Timing Chain Repair Unfortunately, the timing chain has snapped. The engine turns over but won't start, so it will need repairing before it's back on the road. I had planned to fix it myself, but money is tight right now, so I've decided to sell it. This car drove beautifully before the issue. It has a new clutch, gearbox, and brakes, all in excellent condition. Air conditioning is ice cold, and it delivers over 60 MPG with low road tax - very economical to run. I've spent a lot of money on it in the past few months. The passenger door has a slight dent where someone reversed into it and drove off, but it's cosmetic and doesn't affect functionality. I'm really gutted to let it go, but hopefully someone with the right skills can get it back on the road and enjoy it. If you're handy with DIY or know a good mechanic, this could be a great opportunity to pick up a cheap 3 Series. Price is negotiable. Will need to be towed away. Thanks for looking.
