Description

For sale is my 2004 911 C4S Convertible. The car has a fresh MOT and completed a 1,600-mile round trip across Europe to Porsche Stuttgart just last week. I'm the fourth owner (though the first was the original dealership), and it comes with a huge history file, including receipts for a full engine rebuild in 2016 (see photos). Recently, it's had money spent on it including a new steering rack, new front Bridgestone tyres, and a geometry alignment. Prior to my ownership it also had work like new brakes, brake line and an AOS. The Arctic Silver and Cinnamon interior combo gets a lot of attention. The interior was a rare, high-cost option and seems to be universally liked - expect random conversations at petrol stations. It's been valued with its condition in mind, as there are a few bits that would benefit from attention. The wheels have marks, the rear arches are bubbling a little under the paint, and the air con doesn't seem to blow particularly cold. That said, none of that detracts from the 911 experience. The manual shift is the best I've ever used, the AWD system gives great stability, and the feedback and attention the car gets are always positive - I've never been let out of junctions so easily! The seats are excellent over distance, and the boot space up front plus the folding rear seats make it surprisingly practical. It's also fitted with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth. The roof can be operated up to 30mph, and if you don't fancy it down, you can just drop the front and/or rear side windows for airflow. Handy in places like Manchester, where it rains even when it's sunny! I've looked after the paint with high quality coatings. The car came with spacers and lowered suspension - I thought I'd hate it, but it's been perfectly usable, even on and off the ferry to Europe. The stance looks better for it, in my view. It also has a Hayward & Scott exhaust, which sounds fantastic - no drone, just a great tone at higher revs. Much better than the Miltek system a friend has. It came with a K&N intake- I've swapped it back to the standard airbox to avoid any issues. The 996 is still undervalued, and the C4S is arguably the best-looking version, with that wide body and red rear reflector strip. Road tax is low, and insurance has been very cheap - less than my daily. The car's available to view in Manchester. Call with any questions or to arrange a viewing. Original hardtop & wind deflector included, cherished plate not included
