Description
Up for sale is my 2013 BMW M135i, a car that has been a genuine pleasure to own and drive. I've loved every minute of owning it, but with a recent shift in lifestyle, I have moved on to a Morgan, so it's time for the M135i to find a new home. I no longer need the mix of practicality and performance this car offers, hence the change.
This particular example is in very good condition and has been maintained with great care. It comes with a full service history, and I've stayed on top of everything during my ownership. In the past 12 months alone, I've had the turbo charge pipe and rocker cover gasket replaced - both known wear items on these engines. Meaning two less things for the next owner to worry about. I've also had the front suspension ball joints replaced, which were flagged at the car's last MOT. Again, properly taken care of with no corners cut.
The wheels were professionally refurbished in graphite about a year ago, and they still look sharp, really suiting the car's understated but purposeful aesthetic, with no curbing whatsoever. It's worth noting that the car is completely stock, apart from the black kidney grilles, which were fitted by a previous owner and came with the car when I bought it.
It's had two previous owners, with the second purchasing it from a BMW main dealer as an Approved Used car, so it's always been in good hands. I've kept up that standard with necessary maintenance and careful ownership. This hasn't been a project or a track car - just a well loved, well looked after daily driver.
Cosmetically, it presents very well. The bodywork is clean and tidy, though the front bumper does have a few stone chips, which you'll only notice if you're really up close. Nothing unexpected for a car of this age, and certainly nothing that detracts from its overall appearance.
To sum up: this is a clean, honest M135i that's been cared for properly and never messed about with. It's quick, comfortable, and practical, yet still manages to feel like a proper driver's car. I'll be sad to see it go, but it's time for someone else to enjoy it as much as I have.
