This car has had one engineer owner for the last 15 years. During that time it has always been garaged and has been extensively improved. The usual 4 points wing bottom corrosion areas have been repaired with replacement repair panels. The outer and inner sills and jacking points and front and rear inner wings are all original and in remarkably good condition. Mechanically new replacements include IVOR SEARLE re-manufactured engine, fan assembly. alternator, fuel pipes, sport tubular manifold and exhaust, clutch and master /slave cylinder, oil cooler and pipes. prop shaft, rear spax shockers. fuel tank. running gear new includes new front calipers/pads, rear cylinder and new master brake cylinder. The back axle was overhauled and re-fitted with thrust washers by specialist. Overdrive filter and oil changed. most recent replacement is new front coil springs and lower wishbone bushings. New battery. In addition, small controls and ancillary bits and pieces have been renewed over time as necessary. A thick file of Invoices for parts and material , mainly from a local MG specialist, are available. There is a comprehensive additional history from new including most MOT and service before my ownership.
The chrome wire wheels are in excellent order. The interior is black leather with headrest and carpet which is an aftermarket upgrade. Exterior trim includes new vinyl hood and is also supplied with a tonneau. Spare wheel is provide As a result the car drives exceptionally well. The car is rust free with decent condition Harvest Gold painwork. Not over-dressed but nice looking and always complimented on. A genuine extremely reliable car looking for a good home.
