Here is my trusty old mk4 Golf Gti. I bought it as a stop-gap over seven years ago now, keeping it because it has been so good. It shows as the 150bhp model but it has definitely been upgraded at some point in the past. All its previous owners have taken good care of it and it comes with a thick pack of service history to back that up. It's The bodywork is in tremendous condition for its age, as is the interior. There are minimal signs of any rust externally which is a miracle for a VAG car of this age, and barring a couple of nicks in the drivers seat bolster, the fabric is looking really good. As with any car this old, it has a few niggly issues which I no longer have the time to sort out. There is water leaking into the cabin from somewhere so it's getting a bit musty in there, the fuel level sender appears to have a mind of its own, and there's a tiny leak from the sump plug hole that won't go away. The wheels have been in need of a refurb since I got it, and these tyres are at the end of their life. With all that said, I still think it's a really solid car with lots of life left in it, everything else works as it should, it starts on the button and still pulls really strongly. I'll be sad to see it go but it's just not getting the use to justify keeping it any more had various new parts during my ownership, including a cambelt and water pump at 179k miles
