Volvo V70 D5 SE - 6 Speed automatic 179k miles 12 months MOT - July 2026 Full service history Cam belt and V belt done less than 30k miles ago 185hp D5 engine with the higher SE Spec 235gbp per year to tax Sadly the time has come to put my trusty Volvo up for sale, the car is now surplus to requirements, and I don't have the space to keep it as a 2nd car. It has never missed a beat in the time I've owned it and I have no doubt it will continue to perform well for the next owner. It has been very cheap to run in the time I've had it, I get 38-40mpg in daily use which is almost entirely country roads, I've seen over 50mpg on a longer run. It has Uniroyal tyres on the front with good tread, and Roadcruiser tyres on the back which have done less than 2k miles. Good spec car with heated seats, electric drivers seat, a/c, cruise control, heated windows, privacy glass etc. The boot is enormous, the seats fold down completely flat and the boot entrance is 1.2m wide at its widest, making it very practical. It was fantastic to use in winter, the seats are like armchairs and with excellent climate controls and heated seats, it really is the tool for the job - one point to note is that the windscreen wipers have about 30 settings between the stalk and dials, so you can find the perfect setting for whatever amount of rain is coming down on the windscreen, a very nice design feature. A few not so good points; there are a few age related marks around the car, parking dings and scratches etc, the a/c needs a re gas (worked a few months ago) and the service light has just come on. Would make a perfect runaround, workhorse, tradesmen's vehicle (alot cheaper to insure and run than a van), or good for anyone who just needs to eat up some miles in comfort.
