Description
Introduced in 2014, the Cult edition was a new range-topper for the 500 line-up, but it also represented the first steps in Fiat's wider plan to move the brand upmarket.
Fiat chose the name, because the 500 had a fan base which was almost cult like. The Cult included plenty of equipment as standard, from a panoramic roof to seats clad in soft two-tone leather.
This model included the impressive seven-inch digital dial pack (standard on the Cult, optional on lesser models) that does a good job of mixing the old-school design of the dials with modern tech. The display is very clear and easy to see, too. This car also has an aftermarket double Din touchscreen head unit, to include Tomtom navigation and Bluetooth handsfree, a welcome upgrade from the standard entertainment system the 500 ships with.
This has the ultra reliable and economical 1.2 petrol engine.
It also has thicker aftermarket Italian side stripes, and 16 inch alloy wheels. Lots of service history which includes the peace of mind cam belt change and regular oil changes.
The 500 will come with an MOT until July 2026, oil and filter service, and a 3 month upgradeable warranty from Warrantywise.
Any trial, AA-RAC inspection welcome.
