SUBARU, SPEC C, COMPETITION PACK! VERY VERY RARE Those familiar with the Subaru Impreza WRX STI Spec-C Type RA will already know that it was built with Rally or Race in mind. This Subaru Impreza WRX STi Spec-C has the optional hardcore 'Competition Pack' OUT OF THE FACTORY cool-looking 16"steelies, (don't come with the car) It's stripped down with basic Impreza seats (FROM FACTORY), Aluminum bonnet and trunk/Bootlid, thinner glass all round, no ABS, this car has the air conditioning with a smaller and lighter AC compressor (although others did not come with AC from factory), no electric rear windows, thinner glass, NO sound proofing, all to reduce weight and yes all from Factory. This car is 110kg lighter than a standard 07 WRX Sti and 45kg over the regular STi spec c and Nrburgring editions! Another big improvement on the STI Spec C is the strength of the body. You know as soon as you touch the steering wheel that the car will drive 'according to your will'. This is due to the strengthening at the front of the body. Specifically, STi have strengthened the front strut mount surrounds and the engine room and cabin side joints significantly. While realizing a strong, rigid body, approximately 70kg* of weight has been reduced when compared to the standard STI. Additionally, the new development of liquid containing engine mounts and strengthening of the rear car balance and optimization we have achieve a linear and grounded driving experience. *with 16" tires it is 110Kg lighter. It has the cheaper GL looking seats option for rally/racedrivers to purchase and fit their own interiors and racing wheels and rally or race suspension, Spec-C was built to race. I have a very rare and unique vehicle out of 300 made, this the later 2007 year and final run off from factory, which could be one of the few remaining road-going Spec C's that still sports its original specification from the factory and it's clear this car has never been raced or rallied and remains in an incredible condition. I have been all over the car and struggle to find faults which is a credit to the 1 owner in Japan! Only gone through a Japanese Auction once, all this is shown on CARVX checker, CARVX clear showing a very clean tidy 3.5 B Grade non accident car.
