The Premier Power F225 upgrade transforms Caterhams for the road or track - the engine has greatly improved driveability and low down and mid range torque over a standard Caterham R 300 R 400 Supersport R 360 or 420. With the ultra light weight flywheel and clutch assembly option the engine comes to life with razor sharp throttle response, giving the engine a sports car like feel. It gives 225 bhp and torque of 170 ft-lb. The upgrade includes and engine health check, direct to head throttle bodies, foam air filter and back plate, hi-flow fuel injectors, quick action throttle set up with ball and socket throttle cable, new MBE ECU with Premier Power F 225 calibration installed, Premier Power F 225 performance camshafts with uprated valve springs and retainers.
