Citroen C5 Aircross - Well cared for, comfortable and fully equipped family SUV This is a reluctant sale of a car that has genuinely served our family brilliantly. It's been our trusted companion on countless trips including family holidays to the Lake District, Scotland and the south of France - and it has met every challenge we've asked of it with ease and comfort. The arrival of a motability car forces this sale and it will be sadly missed. The C5 Aircross is known for its refinement and practicality, but this one stands out for both its specification and upkeep. Being the FLAIR PLUS, it comes with every bit of tech you could want, including 360 reversing cameras, electric tailgate, a panoramic sunroof that brightens every journey and my personal favourite, the cooled glovebox, large enough to hold a 2-litre bottle of water. Perfect for road trips or long days out. Inside, the seats are deeply padded and exceptionally comfortable, making it ideal for both short commutes and long family adventures. With plenty of space for a family of four (including two teenagers in our case), it's been a genuinely relaxing car to live with. In terms of maintenance, the car has a full Citroen service history and I personally have ensured that it has been maintained to the highest level, including getting the wet belt done early. The car was serviced in June and a major service was carried out by Citroen (JCB Rainham) in June 2024 at 42,000 miles, which included new front and rear brake pads and discs and a brand new, upgraded wet belt. That upgraded wet belt gives real peace of mind for years of stress-free motoring - an expensive job that we saw as a long term investment but as our circumstances have changed, is already taken care of for the next owner. With its low mileage for its age, comprehensive maintenance history and high specification, I genuinely don't think you'll find another family car in the UK right now offering this combination of comfort, tech and reassurance at this price point.
