This Maserati Gransport 4.2 is in the stunning colour combination of anniversary Blue and Cream Italian leather interior and showcases the 4.2L Ferrari derived power-plant and F1 gearbox. The Giugiaro design has a much sportier look than the previous Coupe with new design 19" wheels, special body trim, grille and side skirts, and a fresh new interior with lashings of carbon fibre detail. The 4244cc V8 was improved with new exhaust and bypass valves which raised the power output to 400bhp at 7000rpm, with an exhilarating 0-62mph time under 5 seconds and a maximum speed of 180mph putting it into true Super-car territory. The Cambiocorsa 6-speed gearbox featured upgraded software with faster changes in Sport mode using the paddle-shift, although a more relaxing drive can be achieved in auto mode with this fabulous hydraulically operated manual transaxle, and less than 500 Gransports were sold in the UK making it a pretty rare car. This low mileage car has a huge file of service history from Maserati and Ferrari main agents and specialists from new and has been meticulously cared for throughout and the vehicle is currently kept in covered dry storage only.
